Auctions are fun, but if you'd like to support the Empire Recovery Center directly, a cash donation is very helpful. Any amount is appreciated, and some suggested amounts are given, along with examples of what each amount might be used for.  For instance, $100 will fund ten nutritious meals for residents, $250 will support a person in detox for one day, $500 will purchase activity supplies such as art (diamond art is the rage right now!) and crafts for at least two months. The big funding need is a 7-person van needed to transport clients to medical appointments, recreational activities, and the like.
